SeaWorld Orlando offers discounts on Twilight Ticket for evening admission

Friday, July 2nd, 2010

SeaWorld Orlando has introduced a Twilight Ticket for $39.99 that gets you one admission to the theme park after 3 p.m. any day this summer.

This ticket deal is available now through Labor Day, Sept. 6, 2010.

This ticket could save your family money and a sunburn if you choose to check out SeaWorld in the evening instead of during the heat of the day.

SeaWorld AfterDark showcases the park in a whole new light, with a nighttime rock n’ roll extravaganza, a high-energy Shamu show, a hilarious sea lion show, coasters under the stars and a mystifying fireworks finale.

SeaWorld AfterDark continues through August 15.

A couple of things to note about this new Twilight Ticket for SeaWorld Orlando:

  • The $39.99 price is for both adults and children.
  • You must buy this ticket online – it’s not available at the turnstiles.
  • You can buy online in advance and use the ticket any day between now and Sept. 6 – so you can print it at home before you leave on your vacation.
  • The printed tickets allow you to go straight to the turnstiles at the park – no need to wait in line at the ticket window.

Discounts extended at Hard Rock Park

Thursday, August 7th, 2008

Hard Rock Park is now offering discounted admissions through Labor Day. Admission for adults is $45 and kids 4 to 9 get in for $30. You can also add a second day for $25.

The State newspaper reports today that the park in Myrtle Beach, S.C. is suffering because of the economic downturn. Hard Rock Park opened in April, and it has to be tough to build attendance at a new place during a time when many people are scaling back on spending.

So the park is scaling back operating hours. It will close at 10 p.m. through August and at 7 p.m. after Labor Day. Hard Rock Park also plans to be open four days a week during the off-season, rather than five as originally planned.

Great deal at Universal’s Rock The Universe

Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

If you or your teens are planning to go to Universal Orlando’s Rock The Universe weekend next month, now is definitely the time to get the tickets.

Universal Orlando Resort is offering a combo “Rock The Whole Weekend” ticket for $73.99. This ticket gets you into Universal Studios Orlando and Islands of Adventure for three days, as well as into the concerts of Friday and Saturday night.

The dates for this event are Friday, Sept. 5 through Sunday, Sept. 7. And the special ticket deal ends on Aug. 29, after that, you’ll pay $95.99.

If you’re not familiar with Universal Orlando’s Rock The Universe, it’s a two-night event featuring many Christian music artists. This year, the headliners are Third Day, Switchfoot, Reliant K, Jeremy Camp and Skillet. Many church youth groups come from across the Southeast. If your church is organizing a trip to Rock The Universe, be sure they know about this deal — it’s even a few dollars cheaper for group rates.
